Jamal Penjweny’s latest project, “Angels of war” discusses terrorism and the belief that martyrs will be attributed angels in their after-life.

Jamal explains that this project is about “telling suicide bombers that they already have angels with them in real life – they don’t need to move on to another life to find them. So these pictures were taken to encourage these people to move from darkness to light.”
